Extract your signature from a PDF
Select the handwritten signature or stamp you want from a PDF page. Ink uses that crop to prepare reusable signature and stamp images, while your source PDF remains unchanged.
Select the right page and area
- Choose a file and select a PDF from your device. No sign-in is needed to upload and select your crop. Files can be up to 20 MB.
- Use the page controls to find the signature. Zoom in if the marks are small.
- Draw a box around the signature. Include the entire stamp too if the handwriting overlaps it.
- Move the box or drag its corners to refine the crop, then choose Use selected area.
- Review the censored previews. Unlock the upload for US$7.99 to prepare and download its final transparent PNG results.
Leave a little space around the ink
Include letter dots, tails, and stamp borders, with a small margin on each side. Keep unrelated paragraphs, page numbers, and table borders outside the box when possible. If a crop cuts a stroke in half, choose the area again before continuing.
What file will you receive?
The outputs are separate transparent PNG images of the recovered signature and stamp when present. This workflow extracts graphics from a PDF; it does not insert a signature into the original PDF or modify that document’s pages.
Check scan quality
A high-resolution source PDF can preserve detail that a phone screenshot loses. If the source itself is blurred or handwriting hides stamp lettering, enlarging the crop does not restore that missing information. Compare final results with the source before use.
